 [musicfest 2006]

MusicFesT rOckED... seriously...
i so regretted not going last yr..
i learnt my lesson.
i went this yr. =)
0-SmArT-0

solo was quite ok..
dance was sleak and smooth and sexy..
group was awesome..
band was knock knock knocking..

SolOistS
1) Irvin Wan - i support him cuz he was entertaining during the semis.. but din really like his song choice today.. though of cuz his vocals are still there...
2) Debbie - some unknown yr 1.. cool girl with cool moves.. singing rock and roll! yup she deserves to win!
3) Christabel - she won the most popular vote.. i dun uds how it happens when everyone around me is stunned.. so who voted den??

DanCe
1) blaze - made up of indians.. juz like black 5... these indians have the natural ability to moon walk and glide about and do waves like chicken!!! ( as in easy ) really pro and sleak!
2) Risque - hot hot hot!!! sizzle.... many diff styles of modern dance.. they won.. i was hoping for blaze though.. but risque was great too..
3)escnad - normal dance grp that have been performing in vj since 2005..

VocAl grOupS
1) joel and ka hei - sang the troll lang of Il Divo.. it was nice la.. but they already sang it during semis! but it was nicer this time..
2) Hong Sheng & Co. - definitely i support! they were good in semis.. and even better today! they managed to capture the audiences' attention and support... and i think it was a clear cut victory... extremely happy for them! congrats jeremy!!! =))
3) Rayner & Jasmine - pretty interesting..

BaNds
1) the daniel band - this grp played emphasis largely on their instruments... wow.. no doubt great drummer and great guitarists!
2) the bandits - poor them.. had technically probs during their performance.. but nonetheless everyone cheered for them
3) the camels - totally had the audience screaming "have a nice day" along with han loong.. his vocals was much much much better than wad i heard during semis.. and no ugly leg cramp action.. haha was hoping they would win.. but the daniel band won.. it's cool..

YAY!!! MUSICFEST ROCKS MAN!!!!
